I was however having some battery life issues so decided to do a fresh install to make sure it wasnt some driver weirdness left over from Win7.I could manually start the WWAN configuration service and then from a command line if I ran netsh mbn show interface Id just get a message back saying There is no Mobile Broadband interface.After some playing about I figured out how to install the driver correctly so thought Id share.If its of interest I could post a guide for doing a clean install but that would mean starting over.

Then, the NMEA stream on devttyACM2 is activated by echo -e ATE2GPSNPDr devttyACM2. However, the stream ends as soon as the devttyACM2 device file is no longer opened. Therefore, echo -e ATE2GPSNPDr devttyACM2 is needed after the first client connects. When the last client is closed, the device file will be closed and the NMEA stream stops. It does not support the H5321 gw, the daemon wont start using modern kernels 1 and the GUI wont compile with latest glib. Furthermore, you must add --disable-more-warnings to the autogen.sh command line and modify the provided udev rule to support the H5321 gw.
